Blue Bella- How to Wear Blue for a Casual Chic Classy Look

Why Blue?
In the fun science of fashion, blue is the most tried and tested colour. Think about how often political leaders wear blue or take a look at the average logo for a company card in your wallet, what do you see? I’ll bet blue is there somewhere. Blue is perfect for all purposes so for my Bahamas at Sunrise interview with the founders of Fusion Superplex and their partners Rev Cable Bahamas and Aliv, can you guess what color I wore? Blue of course! Below I’ll direct you to some of the websites that I purchased pieces from so you know how to wear blue as well.

I wanted to wear something fun that fit the environment of this new entertainment experience while keeping it classy and professional enough for morning TV. I knew I would be interviewing corporate leaders and CEOs and I was pretty sure they would wear suits (see picture below to note that I was right) so I also bore that in mind.

I decided to go with a classy top that can be worn anywhere and I paired it with ripped jeans for a more casual “I’m at the movies” effect. Blue pumps and my Kate Spade bag turned the “casual” look up a notch to “classic”, while fun large earrings made my face pop since I had my hair pulled up and completed the look for a little chic. At your request, I’ve listed all the details below.

Distressed Jeans

I got these pants for a steal of a deal in Ross Dress for Less. They were like $10.00! I’ve linked some similar pairs here.

I never know what to do with my hands…

Accessories

Accessories make an outfit. It really is the difference between how casual, classy, or sassy and outfit looks. I take my accessories game seriously and I use more or less depending on what I’m going for. You can learn more about how I use clothes to create certain vibes if you sign up for my online course by emailing me at anastarciahuyler@gmail.com with the caption “Teach Me”.

Yes, that is a lollipop. Yes, I’m 30.

Bag

This is another old purchase from my boo Kate Spade (RIP). I love Kate’s fun, sassy style. Unfortunately, it’s out of season but you can find a similar look here.

Earrings

I got these in Agaci a few weeks ago, find a similar pair here.

Failed attempt at a selfie.

Heels

Now my heels are real old Y’all. I bought them from a random store in a mall in either Tennessee or New Orleans almost four years ago so unfortunately…
